SUMMER ACTING WORKSHOPS

Our Summer Acting Workshops are a place to learn intermediate and advanced tools of acting. These sessions will build excellent tools for the ambitious teen wishing to develop stronger skills for the professional community.

Our workshops will push you to learn more than you ever have about who you are are as an artist!

For students entering 5th through 9th grades.

SESSION ONE: ACTOR TOOLBOX

July 12 & 14  //  6:00-7:30pm
July 19 & 21   //  6:00-7:30pm
Session includes: character building, script analysis, scene study, original character creation, hot seating, movement and voice.

SESSION TWO: THE PROFESSIONAL ACTOR

July 26 & 28  //  6:00-7:30pm
August 2 & 4  //  6:00-7:30pm
Session includes: auditioning, headshots, picking audition material, physical awareness. In addition, students will leave the class with the ultimate audition tools in their back pocket; two contrasting monologues and cold reading skills.

*Sessions are 4 classes over 2 weeks.

All of the classes and sessions work as a cohesive unit, but each class covers different material and stands on its own. Register for one class, one session, several classes over each of the four weeks, or register for both full sessions to get huge savings.
